OregunSafety is dedicated to promoting responsible gun ownership in Oregon.
We are not an "anti-gun" organization - but we recognize the danger posed by firearms, especially to children, when they are misused. OregunSafety believes that each Oregonian should make a well-reasoned decision whether to own guns, and that committed gun owners should be equally committed to storing their guns safely.

1) for committed gun owners, we offer online gun-storage tips and deliver free gun locks to those who need them (as supplies allow);

2) for those who have guns they no longer want to keep, we facilitate a year-round gun turn-in that will come directly to you to pick up and safely dispose of unwanted guns.

By joining with OregunSafety to remove guns from homes where they aren't needed, and storing them safely in homes where they are, you may be able reduce the chance that they'll fall into hands (either a child's or a criminal's) where they don't belong - making Oregon safer for us all.
